I want you to know that I spent the summer in Bishkek teaching English at the American Courses school on MAHAC (near the Philharmonia). While I was gone my poor mother, bless her, went nuts trying to figure out what the hell my life is like over there. While I kept a blog (adventuresinkyrgyzstan.blogspot.com), I didn't update nearly as often as you do (as Mom never hesitated to point out), but I wanted to say thanks for keeping her informed.
Bloggers usually don't realize that they're read a lot more widely than their comments reflect. I'm graduating next spring and am very seriously considering PC (hopefully they'll send me back to Kyrgyzstan). Anywho, I'll keep an eye on your blog - keep up the good work.
Just waiting for your return to blogging Jane, and (once you have recovered from the powerful smells that will be waiting for you) your assurance that you will never fly Itek Air.

Thinking of you whenever Kyrgystan is mentioned (which turns out to be surprisingly often!)

Jane,
