Ok, so what did your mom hope to gain by poking it with a stick?
We were trying to get it to move out of the "road" so it wouldn't get run over. Mmmm, kindness to poisonous snakes.
LOL.I'm betting it would have moved on its own when it saw the van rolling its way. A large vehicle is certainly more imposing than you and your mom.... and that stick :P
