How does an agnostic pseudopagan celebrate the winter holidays in Korea?

Indian Food!! Gwen, Samson and I met up downtown this afternoon, where we dined on Indian food and did a little shopping. (I bought a lime green passport-and-ticket holder and some hoop earrings bigger than my hand. I kid not.) Anyway, happy holidays from your favorite hermiting oddball!

Some of the decor was a bit scandalous for Korea!

Oddly enough, Caitlin bought me a gold-colored passport holder for Christmas.

And if you were participating in the original Christmas (ok Winter Solstice) celebrations, you'd be partying Mardi Gras style! So revel in the non-Christian origins you agnostic pseudopagan!

Happy Winter Holiday and Merry Christmas!

Mardi Gras style? Why yes, usually we do.

Glad you had friends and outrageous jewelry to help celebrate, you nutty hermit. ;)

Ha, I had too much Indian food before I left Korea. What Indian restaurant did you go to? Was it the buffet in Itaewon?

Enjoy the rest of your holiday!

Alas, it wasn't a buffet, just a small restaurant in Daegu. It didn't have many choices other than curry, but it was still yummy.
