He should know as he has to "think" about what his boss Putin wants him to say at all times.

I just wonder how much longer this Presidential charade will continue.

Yikes, now I see that Putin is personally looking into the crash that killed the Polish President. Talk about letting the fox conduct his own investigation into the case of the missing chickens (or the murdered journalists who speak out against his regime).

I actually don't think there will be any conflict of interest with Putin looking into the Polish plane crash. Tragic as it was, I haven't seen any hint that there was anything nefarious about it :-( What I think is a little more fox-n-hens is the US gov't investigating whether or not its former refueling deal with Bakiev's family was legitimate...

No independent investigators? I hope Putin does a better job than he did with his own sailors on the K-141 Kursk. Many could of actually survived for days while Putin enjoyed his vacation and kept British and Norwegian rescuers away.

We also don't know whose payroll the pilot might have actually been on or if his relatives were being used as leverage. I know it sounds like a conspiracy theory on my part, but a lot of stuff is kept out of the press, especially as the Russian press isn't very "free."
