Talk of revolution... in the US??

The Diane Rehm Show is by far my favorite news program. For those of you who have never listened, on her Friday News Roundup she has a panel of experts and journalists (different each week) who discuss recent events in the US and in the world. After discussing said events, they then take calls and read emails, which are also then discussed by the panelists. Click here to download a very short MP3, and listen to Diane read a very, very creepy email. To those of you who are to the right of me politically... are people really talking about this? Seriously?

I doubt all this will rise to the level of revolution. Luckily the tea party is supposedly only about 18% of the population. Though that is large enough to make me sad, I doubt it would be enough to fundamentally alter the fabric of our country. Unless of course they give justification to another Timothy Mcveigh.

There are idiots in every political movement and all up and down the political spectrum. I don't think this kind of stuff is worth taking seriously.

John D., how large was the group responsible for the "first tea party?" All it takes is a spark to start a forest fire (like the one at Fort Sumter and the one at Pearl Harbor--only about 18% of Americans wanted war with Germany at the time, luckily FDR decided to force it upon the nation thanks to Japan with the "so-called" surprise attack).

If things go the way of the Great Depression, I can definitely see something terrible happening. Right now, we are desperately treading some really deep and troubling water.
