Mia spent a lot of today in my wardrobe...

...and the rest she spent in her bag.

She really likes her cat-bag :-)

All the weight is in its head/beak area,
enabling it to balance like this.

I love your cat.

And I used to have one of those birds. Mind-blowing.

OMG, that just reminds me how much of a cutie Mia really is!

I think the weight is in the wingtips ...

All your pictures are so clear an focused. I gotta upgrade from my 3mp phone camera.

Oh, Mia. Sorry you had to hide in the closet! It's good that she actually likes the cat bag, considering the hell-trip you have coming up.

Awww, look at Mia's frown. She looks sooooo sad and anxious. I think she knows something unpleasant is going to happen and she's not looking forward to it.

bob - the weight really is in the head; the wingtips are light as a feather.

anon - i think Mia's frown was caused by the presence of the Very Scary Vaccuum Cleaner!

Hey Jane,

Since you won't be making it to help beautify Russia, you might want to check out your own back yard here:

I wish I would have know about these types of programs when I was young. Kids today have so many great opportunities, but few know about them. I would have loved a gap year in New Zealand, Australia, or England. However, South Korea has been interesting.

So, I will be buying a laptop, portable/ scanner, and digital camera within the next three weeks, so that I can get all of my documents digitized and have them to carry with me around the globe. This of course, requires a great deal of time as most scanners are slow especially at scanning documents though I have heard that they have scanners that know hoe to recognize and text and convert it into a readable and writable file. We shall see. I will still have a lot of images to scan as well, and of course there are always had written documents. The digital camera will be used as back of of pages if I need to read them. If anyone has any suggestions. I would be very grateful.

Thanks,
Christopher
