Last night Rob invited a few of us over to his place for dinner - yum!
Again.... yum!
Kim brought 2 liters of sake....
Oddly enough, this guy is going to be in Irkutsk on the same day as me, staying in the same hostel! Well, he's actually going to be leaving on the same day I'm flying in, but still - how odd is that?
We spent a good bit of time on the rooftop of Rob's building.
Anyone familiar with the Korean game deebeedeebeedeep?
This morning I went to Kangsan Travel to purchase my plane ticket to Russia! I don't have my visa yet, so I made sure that I can cancel my ticket and get a refund if something goes wrong and I have to cancel it. Anyway, I'll be flying from Seoul-Incheon to Vladivostok and from there to Irkutsk on August 25, and I'll be coming back to Korea on September 14. (And, of course, Mia and I will be flying back to the US shortly thereafter.) Here's hoping I get my visa without any problems!
Kangsan Travel is located right in front of the front gate of the US Army base, Camp Walker. When I was on Camp Walker back in 2004, I frequently saw a white dog with eyeglasses. At first I thought he just had weird markings, but soon I realized that someone had drawn the eyeglasses on the dog. Oddly enough, guess what I saw chained up near Camp Walker and Kangsan Travel:
