Some of my kids

The kids had a speaking contest today. My role in all of this was to play photographer. Here are my favorite shots. Enjoy!

Adorable!

I love the pic of Andy, especially... there is something about the angle and the expression that suggests he is quite a character.

What level are these students?

I (soon to be you!) don't teach the kid in the yellow Konglish shirt. As for the others: Melissa and Andy are in Jump 2. I'm not sure if Gwen has explained those levels to you or not - There are 12 books, going from the lowest level Hop 1 (no English) through the highest, Jump 4 (simple past tense). Andy is one of the smarter kids in that class. Sadly, Melissa struggles a lot.

Joe, Jack and Jackson are older and in a slightly more advanced class. Right now they're doing a reading book (the one with the crazy stories that I've been posting), although once they finish that, they'll probably go into Jump 3.
