Could you put two small horizontal ones in a mat? One would be overwhelmed by the space at the top and bottom, but two might look really nice.
That's a good suggestion. I'll see what kind of mats I can round up around here...
That screen is beautiful! What's on the back side?
It *is* beautiful - and it's made of actual wood, and it's quite heavy. Sadly, the back looks just like the back of a whole bunch of picture frames! But, as I've found an excellent place for it by a wall, that doesn't bother me in the least.
