We need a nutcracker too - Kostia's parents collected a huge basket of hazelnuts.
I'd send you some pecans, but I don't think customs would be too thrilled.
Nope, customs would confiscate them, and use a government-issued nutcracker.
Did you buy those? My mom told me that pecans are going for around $7 per pound this year. If you have pecan trees on your new land, you could make some extra cash selling them.
These came from my yard - and I just have the one tree. Still need to gather up the ones from mom's yard (she's got three trees, think). There's a place here called The Nut House (teehee) which buys pecans. Once I get them all gathered, I'll be taking them there. I *hope* they're going for $7/lb. (Sadly, the new land just has pine trees, not harvestable until 2025.)
You should email my mom. She might buy them from you!
